The Northeast Corridor Joint Procurement Study, as required by Section 11312(b) of the FAST Act (P.L. 114-94), which directed the Secretary of Transportation to complete, in cooperation with the Northeast Corridor Commission, Amtrak, and commuter rail
transportation authorities on the Northeast Corridor, a study of the potential benefits resulting from Amtrak and such authorities undertaking select joint procurements for common materials, assets, and equipment when expending Federal funds for such joint procurements. The enclosed study fulfills that requirement.
