The Office of the Executive Secretariat (ExecSec) provides direct support to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Executive Officers including the Administrator, Deputy Administrator, Executive Director, and Program offices in support of stakeholders' engagement and outreach assistance.

The ExecSec team ensures all Department officials are included in the FRA Administrator’s and the U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary’s correspondence, drafting, and policy making process through a managed clearance and control system. Electronic documents maintained by the ExecSec team serve as historical evidence of the Department's organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, and operations.
