Final rule.
FRA is amending its Railroad Workplace Safety regulations by adding a new subpart prescribing safety standards for railroad on-track roadway maintenance machines and hi-rail vehicles. The purpose of these standards is to protect roadway workers during the lawful operation of this equipment and to promote railroad safety overall.
