The Alabama State Port Authority (ASPA) proposes to construct an Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) on an approximately 272-acre property owned by the ASPA in Montgomery, Alabama (Project). ASPA is the Project proponent. The purpose of the Project is to reduce congestion at the Port of Mobile (Port) and provide an alternate shipping option for existing Port customers in central Alabama.
